Sping break was a LONG week with the girls home from school but we did find time to meet some friends at the zoo. It was the first trip in a long time. The weather couldn't have been better! But by the time we left the place was PACKED!! Abby was dead set on seeing the lions....don't know why but for some reason that day that was all she wanted to see. Unfortunately the lions didn't seem to be in the mood for people and were sleeping way up against the wall in the shade. Luckily with Kaitlynn's help she was able to strain over a little and get a glimpse of them.
We will definitely be making a family trip soon. Even going to buy a yearly pass!! Since not only is it good at the zoo in Norfolk but the NC Aquarium (where we will be in August) and the Roger Williams Zoo in RI (where we will be in June)!!
