So far I am really bad at keeping this blog updated.....everytime I sit down to write something else becomes a priority and this gets put aside. We have had quite an eventful couple of weeks. So let's see if I can put it all in a nutshell.... As of today Kaitlynn is old enough to go take the test to get her Learner's permit, she hasn't really studied for it so I don't think it will be happening today. But she has a car waiting for her when she is ready! We didn't plan on buying her a car but Loren (my cousin and Logan's godmother) was selling her old one and it was a deal we couldn't pass up. It's an older car, a '97, but it is in decent shape, needs minimal work, and should last a while, not to mention the price was RIGHT! Now she just needs to learn how to drive AND learn to drive a 5 speed. LOL She didn't seem very excited when she came home from school and saw it sitting in the driveway but turns out she was....she even went out and may a video....too funny not to post... Abby had a big medical week last week...lol Monday she had both a regular checkup at the dentist (we LOVE Dr Huie) as well as a yearly checkup and new school physical with Dr Griffiths. The Tuesday poor baby did what most kids dread....THROWING UP ON THE SCHOOL BUS!! So I got the call first thing to come pick her up from school. She was sick all that day and even asked me while kneeling in front of the toilet, if "today is my birthday"? To which I answered "no honey, you still have a couple days until your birthday. She was afraid that she was sick on her birthday and was hoping to feel better by her birthday...I was planning on taking cupcakes up to her class for her birthday and she was afraid to miss that. She did make a pretty quick turn around and was fine by the next day but she couldn't go back to school until Thursday.


Logan is as silly as always, although he is starting to show some temper and stubborness....can't imagine where THAT comes from! lol He has a few new words this past week..."poopie" seems to be a favorite and he knows what it means. If he gets "caught in the act" and I ask him if that is what he is doing, he TAKES OFF to hid under the dining room table!! He also learned "cookie", "pocket" and "pizza" which comes out sounding like PAPA!! He also knows about 8 body parts too. He keeps us quite entertained...
